Volkswagen Jetta TDI starting at $21,990 and certified at 38/44 mpg. Will you ever see VW's own rated MPG numbers? If you drive normally, you will probably see that. But compare your current MPG with your current car's rating. Use pen and paper, not the trip computer. We have a 2005.5 MKV TDI and if we try a bit on the freeway, we can get 50+ mpg.
